You see construction. We see community development.
Gayanga Co. hires community members who are unemployed, underemployed, or face traditional barriers to employment. Through our education and training efforts, we provide access to full living wage opportunities that include healthcare benefits and pathways to homeownership.
In our conversations with community members, we educate our neighbors on opportunities outside traditional education or career paths and offer resources to equip them with new skills. Internally, Gayanga Co. is different thanks to our cultural competency trainings designed to give our team fluency as they work in historically neglected neighborhoods.
Gayanga Co. is reducing crime rates, fire hazards, lead poisoning, and asbestos contamination levels by designing and implementing construction engineering projects with the highest safety standards in the industry. With safe blight removal, Gayanga Co. is creating economic opportunity, ensuring public safety, and expanding water access.
